Kunshan, located in the densely populated Yangtze River Delta, is home to a number of consumer electronics giants such as Wistron, Foxconn, and Luxshare. While industrial growth has been rapid, the mismatch between productivity advances and workforce development has increasingly constrained corporate expansion.
As a specialized manufacturer of drilling and tapping machines, Duyang identified this misalignment between skills and industry needs through its in-depth collaboration with key clients like Wistron and Luxshare. In response, Duyang partnered with Kunshan's largest technical training institute to offer systematic professional training for machining personnel. The programs cover mainstream CNC systems including Mitsubishi, Fanuc, Huazhong, and Syntec, as well as machining process optimization, helping manufacturers achieve lean production in practical terms.
Moreover, by incorporating Fanuc robots for automated loading and unloading of machine tools, Duyang has further enhanced production efficiency for its customers, enabling them to gain a competitive edge in the intense market environment.
In 2023, Duyang expanded into the Vietnamese market and recognized similar challenges in local skilled workforce development. Seizing this opportunity, while preparing to establish a new factory in Vietnam, Duyang plans to introduce its mature Kunshan-based training model to systematically help address talent shortages for local manufacturing partners.
