2013
Mr. Zhang Tao, the founder of Kunshan Duyang CNC Machine Tool, moved from Dongguan, Guangdong to Kunshan, Jiangsu to start his business. Initially, he worked as an agent for branded machine tools. Later, he keenly recognized that Kunshan, as a hub of automation in China, was home to leading consumer electronics companies such as Wistron, Luxshare, and Foxconn, presenting vast market opportunities. This insight prompted him to embark on his own challenging entrepreneurial journey.
2017 to 2020
Kunshan Duyang CNC Machine Tool collaborated with Tianjin University to continuously refine and enhance its products. Through in-depth R&D and multiple iterations, the company obtained numerous patents, earning widespread acclaim in the industry and solidifying customer trust in product quality.
2019
The company began constructing its own factory, and upon its completion in 2021, officially launched the DUYANG brand, embodying the spirit of "Precision in Craft, Intelligence in Flight."
2022
Thanks to the relentless efforts of the team, Kunshan Duyang CNC Machine Tool was recognized as a Jiangsu Provincial High-Tech Enterprise.
2023
As the company continued to expand, it embarked on its global journey. The same year, it achieved ISO 9001 certification and CE marking for its products. For its first overseas venture, Duyang entered Vietnam, a country with cultural similarities and geographic proximity. It established a showroom in Bac Ninh and hired local staff to carry out targeted marketing initiatives, significantly enhancing its regional influence.
2023 and 2025
The company exported a total of 200 machines. Looking ahead, Duyang plans to set up a local production facility in Vietnam to further deepen its localization efforts.
